Fishing with Tubes : Tube jig
The BamZooka, Sidewinder and Howitzer tube has been designed for targeting multiple species (bass, pike, walleye) in all types of cover. Built to last , it can survive the punishment and pack a punch of its own! Use this versatile tube to pull your prey out of heavy cover , jagged rock hideouts and under docks.
STEP 1 : SIZE THE LURE
Before you start anything, make sure you have an appropriately sized hook. This is critical. You’ll want to make sure that the turning point of the hook starts at the end of the bait. We are using a 1/8 oz. tube jig in this demo.
STEP 2 : INSERTING THE JIG
Lift the skirt of the tube and insert the weighted end into the cavity. Make sure no strands get smooshed in along with it!
Step 3: BREACH & CLEAR
With the weight fitting snuggly in the cavity , push down on the eye screw to pierce through a layer of plastic. You’ll want to tie your line on the eye hook that pokes through. 😉
Step 4 : GO FISH!!!
That’s it folks . You’ve now properly rigged the versatile Bamzooka tube , now get out there and wet your line!
